NOVA Information Systems
is the 3rd largest credit card payment processor in the United States and is an industry
leader with nearly 650,000 merchant customers.
During my tenure at NOVA, I integrated a new multi-tiered web architecture into the organization
and trained employees in the use of the Model-View-Controller (MVC-2) web development framework.
As the lead user-interface developer, I was responsible for designing and developing a number of
web-based applications designed to monitor and manage credit card exposure risk, thereby significantly
reducing the company's incidence of credit card fraud.

InfiLink Technologies
is a leading provider of internet and telephony services to financial
institutions in the the loan application and processing marketplace.
While at InfiLink, I introduced a new web architecture into the organization,
helping it to transition away from a closed, single- vendor system to a multi-vendor,
open-systems environment. By introducing a Java application server environment,
and employing the Model/View/Controller (MVC) model of application design, I was
able to increase code re-use and stability, increase developer productivity, and
greatly accelerate the product time-to-market. |

ProAct Technologies
(formerly Consumer Financial Network)

ProAct
Technologies is a leading software developer delivering systems for
accessing and managing employees health, wealth, and human resource processes.
During my tenure at ProAct, I was responsible for developing and maintaining
much of the core web application services for their Financial Services
marketplace, YouDecide.com.
This included developing an XML/HTML scripting engine which was used for
generating dynamic, personalized web content. I also developed a proprietary
caching system that provided local caching of web application session data,
enabling a significant increase in web application performance.
While at ProAct, I also co-authored three web architecture patents.

Equifax Services
|
Equifax Services (along
with its spinoff, ChoicePoint, Inc.) are the leading suppliers of financial data
to the credit and insurance industries.
During my tenure within the Insurance Services Division of Equifax (now ChoicePoint,
Inc), I was primarily responsible for the architectural design and
development of the infrastructure for a rules-based information delivery system,
the first of its kind in the insurance industry. This included all of the
underlying interprocess communication facilities as well as system monitoring
and problem notification facilities.
In addition, as an Internal Consultant, I assisted in the adoption of open
systems and client-server architecture throughout the organization. Prior to
that time, the organization consisted of a number of closed mainframe-based
environments which operated in independent silos.

Par Technology Corporation
|
Par Technology
Corporation is the world's leader in system solutions for the quick service
restaurant industry. It is also a leading supplier of transaction-processing
systems for the manufacturing and warehousing industries.
While at Par, I was the technical lead responsible for the design and
development of a suite of industrial data collection applications (e.g. time &
attendance, labor reporting, etc.) used to control factory floor operations.
Working in partnership with IBM, Par developed the premier data collection
system employing IBM's 7527 data collection terminal.

Equifax Insurance Systems
|
In a previous stint with Equifax, I was employed within a subsidiary of the
company, Equifax Insurance Systems. I was responsible for developing PC-based
ordering systems used to order and deliver a number of Equifax insurance
information reports, including Motor Vehicle Reports. During my tenure, I
managed the development of an information delivery system which provided
insurance companies with access to the industry's first national claims history
database, the Claims Loss Underwriting Exchange (C.L.U.E.).
